This has got to be one of the sexiest songs/videos of all time.

Not my usual style, but these boots are AHHHHmaze.
LEGZ!
The last 3 images here are from an editorial shot by Greg Kadel for the summer issue of i-D magazine. The idea was to channel the model’s “inner dancer”…all in all I have to commend Malgosia Bela & Kadel for a job well done! The second image actually feels as if a dancer has been photographed mid movement (also very Martha Graham -esque). To see the full editorial click here.

The last few weeks have been a bit of a blur. I quit my full time job and started work (as part of the wardrobe team) on a Canadian Indie film called Molly Maxwell. If you follow me on twitter or instagram, you have probably had a glimpse in to my crazy 12 hour days on set, hence my blogging absence. If not this about sums it up. I get to hang out with some pretty fun, smelly, kick-ass mo-fo’s all day and I love it. Sad to say we only have one week left of makin’ movie magic.
Lola Tash (far left), Brooke Palsson (middle) and A.K. Shand (right). The girls get ready for a night out.
Love some 80′s tiger stripes. Hashtag vintagefashionwhatsoldisnew!
My 15 minutes…being asked to be a foot stand-in with Jessica Shannon, Key hair (middle) and Kristin Wayne, Key make-up (left)
We would NEVER make it through the day if it weren’t for grilled cheese subs.
Stunning stain glass light fixture in the kitchen of “Molly’s house”.
Quick jaunt to the island for a day yielded some seriously amazing/funny/magical moments. Lola Tash (left), Charlie Carrick (right).
After hour 10 the serious poses and silly faces start to emerge.
Possibly one of the BEST day’s ever. This photo does not do this set justice. Believe me, If I had high school dances like this one, I may have not wanted to get the fuck out of there so fast.
And BAM! Let’s end on a fashion note…a good example of my paired down style right now. Long days mean’s staying comfy and what’s better than a classic white T and some dark denim? Don’t forget to add a million layers cause it’s been so damn cold in Toronto. Fuck, where exactly is spring anyway?!
P.S. Did I mention I get to work with some gorgeous MEGA-stylish gals in wardrobe? no?…well I do, and it’s fab.

I recently watched the 2008 film The Fall upon recommendation from a friend. We went from talking about our favorite “scary” movies, to discussing the ones that left us in awe visually, and now this one is at the top of my list. Directed by Tarsem Singh, it is a whimsical & endearing adventure story told by an injured 1920′s stuntman and imagined by a sweet little immigrant girl. *Be Warned – you will want to pause this film every few seconds, in order to soak in one stunning shot after another*
From the costume design, to lighting, to the incredible locations, this movie has no shortage of visual inspiration. Watch & be charmed.
Remember way back in 2000, when J-Lo was in The Cell ? No? Well, check it out, cause it is another gem directed by Tarsem Singh.

Lately I have been suffering from “bad blogger” syndrome. You know, the one where you feel guilty because you haven’t posted anything in (my case) a few weeks. The longer it goes on the worse you feel, as if somehow blogging frequency is a measure of your success, your ability to multitask, to work, have a social life, walk the dog, go to fashion-y events and then wrap it up in a witty, interesting blog post. So instead of indulging in some epically inspiring post, I have chosen to address the issue head on and admit to my total neglect of the blog. And I am going to stop feeling guilty.

This stunning piece of work is choreographed by Crystal Pite, the founder of Kidd Pivot, a contemporary dance company born in Canada but now based in Frankfurt, Germany. Even if you are someone who knows nothing about dance, you cannot help but be moved by her work. If ever given the opportunity, do yourself a favor and run to see any production she is a part of, and I swear you will not be disappointed.
Waiting with baited breath to see the full length show in Toronto this Thursday! EEEEEkkkk!

Great finger candy from Luv AJ.
O.B.S.E.S.S.E.D with this dress from local (Toronto) designer Sarah Stevenson.
Once the warmer weather hits it’s gonna be all crop tops & high waists for this gal.
Point of view is EVERYTHING.
Who wouldn’t want to be wrapped in a bed of flowers?
Fresh & sexy in white. I’ll take a clean palette over pattern mixing any day.

Sometime around Christmas I scored myself a wee sample of the new fragrance from Ferragamo. After spritzing a few days in a row and testing it out on the gent’s nostril’s I came to realize I couldn’t live without it. ***There is something you should know about me. I am a ONE perfume kinda gal. I pick my favorite and stick with it!*** So committing to a new fragrance is somewhat of a serious undertaking.
I am also a sucker for good packaging, and the perfectly pastel pink grosgrain ribbon on the top makes me feel like I am opening a present every time I put it on. Sucker I say.
Anyhow ladies, for those of you who like to smell sweet, flowery & bookish with a dash of baked goods (vanilla-esque) this is the stinky stuff for you. It’s the kind of scent that is subtle and fresh, perfect for everyday wear. If you prefer smelling like an old lady (think thrift meets drug store) or dig that horrible hippy trademark patchouli smell this one isn’t gonna be your cuppa tea.
