I don’t even know where to begin. New York was such a whirlwind! I have to say I had the most crazy trip, from the beyond EPIC road trip, to suffering through a terrible post-summer cold, to the madness that was the Missoni for Target pop-up sale!
I attended my very first IFB conference at Milk Studios on Sept. 7, and I was not disappointed! I was so happy to hear from some of my favorite bloggers, including Leandra from the Man Repeller, Erica and Lauren from Honestly WTF and Ari Seth Cohen from Advanced Style. From attendees to panelists, everyone was looking great and so very friendly! The best part of it all was finding out the people I admired the most are even more wonderful in person.
***side note, Leandra is just as funny and witty in person, Erica and Lauren are two of the most down to earth, sweet gals I have met, and Ari is just such a genuine, nice guy it’s no wonder he has won the hearts of so many generations of women.***
Somehow amidst all the excitement P and I managed to forget about snapping our get-ups and instead focused on taking pics of our arm parties!
Flash forward to Fashion’s Night Out on the 8th…we made sure to get our priorities straight and queued up for the Missoni for Target pop-up sale. We waited and waited, but were amongst the first 100 let in and made some MAjor scores!
After a successful haul, we headed to the FNO Madewell event hosted by Honestly…WTF. Seriously, I cannot turn down a DIY event!
The idea was to make your own menswear inspired accessories from denim off-cuts. People got seriously creative and all in all it was a blast!

After we finished getting crafty with Erica at Madewell, we hurried on over to Free People to make some friendship bracelets with Lauren, but the event was such a hit that they had run out of supplies! Luckily we caught Lauren, had a nice chat and snapped a few pics. Honestly…those gals are the best!
